Joel Montanez (Juheardfirst) is a American music promoter/marketer. After graduating in musical theatre from the American hard life academy he began managing his son “Droza” music career. He received a nomination for prime time Outstanding Management in a supporting role in limited series of music sports entertainment in 2021 stage recording of the play. In 1999 Juheardfirst met model Joyce April Patterson during rehearsals for the off broadway production they began dating and shortly after got engaged and have since been married with 4 children.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

Juheardfirst was born on September 24 1977 in the Brooklyn borough of New York City. He is of Puerto Rico descent. His ancestry consists of European Africa Jewish and indigenous/ Native.

He lived in east new York on Logan Street an affordable housing development in Brooklyn with his mother stepfather younger brother and sister

Juheardfirst mother struggled with substance abuse and was variably present in his life. Juheardfirst attended Franklin k lane HS where he first caught true love for the music culture he was also a student to a rap group called group home signed by Gang Starr. He Juheardfirst is a 1996 graduate of Brooklyn music school.All though his ambition at the time centered around baseball including plans to play NCAA baseball Division 111 College baseball followed by a coaching career after High School, Juheardfirst Quickly made a turn for the worse and began to find his self in trouble with the NYCPD. 1 Year later (1997) Juheardfirst earned roles in Various regional and touring musical productions including the Hood Project.

In July (1999) it was announced that JHF had been cast in director spike lee’s short lived independent film Comedy Drama

RECORDING CAREER

Juheardfirst played a supporting role in a lot of upcoming acts from 2018 to 2023 and has since starred in several Boston music videos which has earned him a straight forward reputation. Juheardfirst appeared on Group Home of Gangstarr foundation Video. Shortly after two collaborative projects titled “Juheardfirst Cyphe” and “Alive” was also released. Fast forward it was also announced that Juheardfirst will remain independent and distribute his own music.
